Gemma Collins adopts polar bear

Gemma Collins decides to adopt a polar bear living in Yorkshire.

Gemma Collins has adopted a polar bear from a Yorkshire zoo after falling in love with the animals during a recent visit.

The 39-year-old was filming for a new series of her ITVBe show Diva On Lockdown at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park when she was invited to feed the polar bears.

"Gemma loved the animals and couldn't help herself," a source told The Sun. "She sees animal conservation as the next big thing she wants to get into, and adopting her own polar bear was too tempting to resist.

"She wants to stay involved and keep up to date with what is happening at the park. They're amazing creatures and she wants to support in any way she can.

"Unfortunately they already have names - Victor, Pixel, Nissan and Nobby - as she would have loved to pick one herself."

The GC is a known animal lover and became friends with a Shetland pony named 'Tony The Pony' during her stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house several years ago.
