Former The Only Way Is Essex star Kirk Norcross has turned down an invitation to return to the show for its upcoming 10th anniversary celebrations.
The ITVBe reality series will mark a decade of being on the air this autumn with several special episodes that are likely to feature a number of the most popular former cast members.
Norcross was one of the original stars of TOWIE but left in 2013 and now runs his own jet washing business in Essex.
"When the idea first came up Kirk was up for it. But, over time, he's changed his mind," a source told The Sun.
"He's had time to think about what going back might mean and he doesn't want to go there. As far as Kirk is concerned that life is behind him now and he's only looking forward."
The latest series of TOWIE was due to air in March but was abandoned due to the coronavirus pandemic, with a supersized new series - including the 10th anniversary specials - now planned for this autumn instead.
