Mario Falcone confirms TOWIE return for one-off appearance

Mario Falcone confirms that he has filmed a cameo appearance for the new series of The Only Way Is Essex.

Mario Falcone has confirmed that he will make a one-off cameo in the new series of The Only Way Is Essex.

The ITVBe reality show returns for a bumper 10th anniversary series this weekend and is expected to welcome back a host of former stars at various points to mark the occasion.

Falcone, 32, is one of the biggest stars to have emerged from the show, appearing for seven years before deciding to leave at the end of series 21 in 2018.

According to the Daily Mail, Falcone has agreed to come back for an episode in the new series and will be joined by his son Parker, who is just 22 months old.

Talking about the cameo, he told the newspaper: "I've only gone back for an episode but it was nice. It was nice to see Charlie and Chloe, I grew up with them, and it was nice to see the people behind the scenes as well.

"[Parker] wasn't phased really. He was very smiley. We did a thing at the end for the 10 year anniversary, it was very cute. He's actually really good."

TOWIE airs Sundays and Wednesdays at 9pm on ITVBe.
