The final episode of Viewpoint is watched by over 2.1 million viewers on the ITV Hub on Friday night after ITV pulls the show from its main schedule at the last moment.

The final episode of Viewpoint has been watched by 2.14 million viewers on the ITV Hub so far, according to overnight ratings figures.

The drama was stripped in the 9pm slot on ITV last week, averaging a solid 3.84 million viewers across its first four episodes from Monday to Thursday.

The planned broadcast of the concluding episode on Friday was axed at the last minute, however, following allegations of sexual misconduct by lead star Noel Clarke in a report by The Guardian.

ITV took the decision to make the final episode available for viewers on the ITV Hub instead - although the entire series will be removed at 11.59pm tonight amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Clarke.

Early data suggests that 1.04 million sought out the episode on Friday, with a further 1.1 million watching at some point on Saturday.
