LGBTQ at the BBC will feature classic performances from the likes of George Michael, Divine and Lil Nas X, while Alan Carr, Eddie Izzard and Julian Clary are among the comedians appearing in Pride Live at the Apollo.

On BBC Four, Into My Name is a Storyville programme following four young Italians going through gender transitions, Sam Smith will host an eight-part HIV series for Radio 4 and 6Music's Loud and Proud season celebrates LGBTQ+ voices throughout the month.

Charlotte Moore, the BBC's chief content officer, said: "To mark the 50th Anniversary of Pride, we are bringing audiences a range of content across a multitude of genres.

"Whether you want to watch or listen live on TV or Radio, or dive into the collection on iPlayer or download on BBC Sounds, this comprehensive collection of LGBTQ+ content will begin on the BBC in June."
