The BBC has announced that three Saturday night gameshows have been recommissioned for new series in 2023.
Michael McIntyre's The Wheel and Blankety Blank, hosted by Bradley Walsh, have each been handed new 10-episode runs, while the reboot of The Weakest Link with Romesh Ranganathan will be back for a new 12-episode series.
Kalpna Patel-Knight, the BBC's commissioning editor for entertainment, said: "In Michael, Bradley and Romesh we have three funny titans of Saturday evening TV back on our screens with these fabulous formats... ensuring that both BBC One and BBC iPlayer remain as an undisputed entertainment destination for viewers all across the UK in 2023."
The BBC has also commissioned a reboot of Gladiators which has also been earmarked for a Saturday night slot later this year, potentially paired up in the schedules with Strictly Come Dancing.
Contestant applications for The Wheel, Blankety Blank and Gladiators are open online now until the spring.
