The BBC has confirmed that the Blankety Blank reboot with Bradley Walsh will return for a second full-length series later this year.
The classic comedy gameshow, which features a celebrity guest panel, was a staple of the TV schedules in the 1980s and '90s with hosts including Terry Wogan, Les Dawson and Lily Savage.
The BBC brought the show back with Walsh as compere for a one-off special over Christmas 2020 before commissioning a full-length series, which averaged almost 6 million weekly viewers last autumn.
"I absolutely love recording this show," said Walsh. "We have some of the funniest comedians and some of Britain's most well-known faces join us on the panel, and they're incredible, but for me, it's the players that steal the show. I'm looking forward to getting back into the studio and having a blast filming."
Kate Phillips, the BBC's director of entertainment commissioning, added: "It's been so brilliant having Blankety Blank back on the Beeb. And Bradley really is the perfect host for this very funny family show, dealing with unpredictable celebrities, contestants, and prizes!"
The new series is expected to run to nine episodes plus a Christmas special.
