Race Across The World begins hunting for contestants to take part in its fifth series, due to air in 2025.

Casting has opened for the fifth series of Race Across The World, due to air on the BBC in 2025.

The globetrotting race, which sees pairs of contestants race each other across thousands of miles on a limited budget, has already filmed its fourth series.

That series is due to air later this spring on BBC One, while a second series of the celebrity version of the contest is slated to air in the autumn.

Producers have now turned their eyes to the 2025 edition of the main show and are seeking "intrepid duos of all ages" to take part.

The application process advises potential contestants that filming will take place over an eight-week period between October and December this year.

Applications can be submitted online between now and April 19.
