YouTube star Nella Rose has been named as the new co-host for Oobah Butler on Catfish UK.
The show is a local spinoff of the hugely successful US series, which attempts to find the true identities of people involved in suspect online relationships who have never met.
The second series of Catfish UK will air on MTV this summer, and the network has now confirmed that series one co-host Julie Adenuga will be replaced by Rose, who has over 700,000 subscribers on YouTube.
"As somebody that has been watching Catfish since I was 14, it's still so surreal to me that I'm part of the show," she said.
"Nothing could have prepared me for the rollercoaster I've had experiencing the show firsthand!
"Being able to connect with people on another level has changed me completely and I'm so excited for everyone to see the more empathetic side to me that only those closest to me get to experience."
Butler added: "I'm so happy to be back and on the road helping people entangled in online romances, and who better to join me on this journey than Nella Rose?
"She's hilarious, smart, not afraid to tell it how it is, and deeply cares about people and their dignity.
"This series has taken us to some unbelievable and emotional places and in an era where online scams are endemic, I hope it helps people today protect themselves. I hope you're as excited as I am!"
MTV also confirmed that it has already commissioned a third series of the show for broadcast in 2023.
