Plans for a celebrity edition of Naked Attraction in aid of Stand Up To Cancer are reportedly ditched due to a lack of interest.

A proposed celebrity edition of Channel 4's Naked Attraction has reportedly been dropped due to a lack of willing participants.

The show - hosted by Anna Richardson - sees singletons attempt to find a match from a group of suitors by assessing their naked bodies.

C4 was said to be keen to air a one-off edition featuring famous faces in aid of Stand Up To Cancer, with Richardson naming former England cricket hero Freddie Flintoff as her ideal contestant.

According to the Daily Star, however, the idea was dropped after producers struggled to find willing celebrities.

"I was asked to do the show and I wanted to do it. I was up for it and it was in the pipeline," newsreader India Willoughby told the newspaper.

"But unfortunately they couldn't get enough people, so it went down the pan."

She added: "You only live once. My body is going to deteriorate very soon. If I was going to do the show, it would have to be in the next 12 months or so or everything is going to be hanging around my ankles!"

The next series of Naked Attraction is due to begin on Channel 4 later this year.
