Channel 4 has announced details of a new four-part cookery series with Jamie Oliver.
The acclaimed chef has produced multiple episodes of the fast-turnaround shows Jamie Oliver: Keep Cooking and Carry On and Jamie Oliver: Keep Cooking Family Favourites over the last 15 months during the coronavirus crisis.
The new show, Jamie Oliver: Together, will celebrate the gradual easing of coronavirus restrictions and feature a series of dishes "designed to be enjoyed with friends, family and loved ones after so long apart".
Exec producer Samantha Beddoes said: "We really want this series to help people come together over delicious food and celebrate a moment that we're collectively going through as the nation starts to come together again.
"Many of us haven't cooked for large numbers for a while - or ever - so these programmes will be a delicious step by step guide to creating a perfect evening that can create really special memories."
Channel 4 commissioning editor Tim Hancock added: "There's nothing better than getting together with friends and family over great food, especially when we haven't been able to do so for so long.
"This new series from Jamie Oliver is the perfect accompaniment, featuring fantastic recipes for all skills and abilities."
The show will air later this summer and will be followed by the release of a book of the same name in September.
