Girls5eva has been cancelled for a second time following its move to Netflix.
The comedy centres around a girl group who decide to reunite two decades down the line after their one-hit wonder gets a new lease of life when it is sampled by a rapper.
The show ran for two seasons on NBC streamer Peacock but when the broadcaster opted not to renew it for a third season, Netflix stepped in and a third season was released earlier this year.
Speaking on her podcast, star Busy Philipps said: "It's dead. Yeah. I'm just saying it because, fuck it. If Netflix won't, I will. I guess not enough people watched it or watched it the way that counts or I don't know. I actually just don't know."
She added: "I don't think it'll ever be dead-dead. The characters are too good.
"I've even joked with the cast, like, we should do Radio City or turn it into a live stage show - a musical, maybe even Broadway someday."
