The reboot of Gossip Girl has been renewed for a second season by HBO Max, the streamer has confirmed.
The first season of the teen drama has been split into two six-episode halves, with the first being released in July and the second following in November.
In a press release, HBO claimed that content relating to the show has notched up more than 15 billion impressions on social media, with over 5 billion views of content "inspired by the series" on TikTok.
HBO has not released viewing figures for the show but did describe it as " the best launch for a Max Original Drama series this year".
In the UK, the new series - as well as the original - is available for free streaming through BBC iPlayer.
