Veteran football manager Harry Redknapp is in isolation after he came into contact with a COVID-positive crew member on Michael McIntyre's The Wheel.
The 74-year-old filmed an episode of the gameshow last Friday and afterwards received a call to inform him that one of the crew had subsequently tested positive for coronavirus.
Under government guidelines Redknapp has now entered self-isolation for 10 days and has had to cancel his immediate engagements, including a lucrative speaking gig.
Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw is also said to have come into contact with the crew member in question and as a result he too is isolating and will host his show from home over the next 10 days.
"We can confirm an individual has tested positive for COVID," a show spokesperson said in a statement.
"We have and will continue to follow strict government guidelines to ensure the safety of all on the production, the filming schedule of which is unaffected."
Other celebrities appearing on the episode included Carol Vorderman and Angela Scanlon, although not all of those taking part are thought to have interacted with the infected crew member.
