Isabel Webster leaves Sky News to host new GB News show

Sky News anchor Isabel Webster leaves the broadcaster in order to host a new show for newcomer GB News.

Isabel Webster has left Sky News to join new news channel GB News, it has been announced.

The new broadcaster launches this Sunday night and has assembled an impressive lineup of on-air talent, including Andrew Neil, Alastair Stewart, Simon McCoy, Colin Brazier and Kirsty Gallacher.

The latest addition to the roster is Webster, who has worked for Sky for the last 10 years and will host a new two-hour Sunday show on GB News.

"GB News is an exciting new voice in the media landscape at what feels like an historic moment for our country," she said.

"Informed insight and analysis of current affairs is more critical now than ever and I'm thrilled to help provide it."

GB News launches at 8pm on Sunday with a special programme introducing the channel's presenters.
