Titanic director James Cameron is reportedly in talks about making a drama based around the recent Titan disaster.
A month ago five people died when a submersible - called Titan - imploded while taking them down to the bottom of the North Atlantic ocean to see the wreck of the Titanic.
Cameron released an epic movie about the 1912 disaster in the late '90s, and in the process became an expert on the doomed ship - supposedly diving down to visit it himself 30 times.
According to The Sun, Cameron is now pondering whether to make a series about Titan's similarly-doomed voyage for a major streamer.
A source told the newspaper: "The Titan disaster is already being looked at as a major series for one of the world's biggest streamers - and James is first choice for director.
"It is a subject close to his heart. He told the story of the Titanic so compassionately it feels like a natural step for him to take this on.
"Retracing the steps of those on board the Titan is a massive undertaking but there would be a lot of time, money and resources dedicated to it."
The tabloid also links Matt Damon and Kumail Nanjiani with potential roles in the project.
