Jeremy Kyle's new nightly show on TalkTV will air between 7pm and 8pm from October 10, it has been confirmed.
The veteran presenter has vacated his Drivetime slot on talkRADIO - now occupied by Vanessa Feltz - in order to join the primetime lineup of the accompanying TV channel, which launched in April.
The new show will see him go up against Nigel Farage, who has grown a dedicated audience in the 7pm hour on GB News over the past 14 months.
Tom Newton Dunn's 7pm show The News Desk will be rebranded First Edition and move to the later slot of 10pm to make way for Kyle, with Piers Morgan Uncensored and The Talk continuing at 8pm and 9pm respectively.
Speaking about the new show - to be called Jeremy Kyle Live - the former ITV daytime host said: "I'm so excited to be going back to live television from October 10th. Sitting in for Piers over the summer has given me a taste for what the new show will be.
"Jeremy Kyle Live will be making sense of the stories that matter; speaking the language of the British people and providing practical help as we all try and navigate our way through current times. I can't wait to be a part of TalkTV's amazing new primetime lineup."
Newton Dunn said of his move to late night: "First Edition is a really exciting opportunity to redefine what a flagship evening news programme looks like.
"We want to produce a news hour that not just looks back on the day, but sets the agenda and looks forward into tomorrow, with the help of the next day's newspaper first editions and a full paper review.
"With TalkTV's own growing reporting cadre, and the world beating journalism across News UK's titles, we are brilliantly placed to do this."
According to the latest monthly figures from ratings provider BARB, TalkTV averages an audience share of 0.09%, compared to 1.44% for BBC News, 0.89% for Sky News and 0.42% for GB News.
