Doctor Who's Freema Agyeman and singer Lily Allen are to play sisters in a new comedy series called Dreamland.
The "dark comedic" show - created by Pulling and Catastrophe's Sharon Horgan - is centred around the dysfunctional family dynamics of four sisters living in Margate.
Agyeman plays the eldest sister Trish, who is pregnant with her third child and receiving support from her sisters Clare (Gabby Best) and Leila (Aimee-Ffion Edwards), as well as her mother, played by Frances Barber, and her local-legend nan, played by Sheila Reid.
Allen stars as the fourth sister, Mel, who makes a sudden reappearance in all of their lives in a move that could destabilise the whole family.
Running to six half-hour episodes, Dreamland is currently being filmed for broadcast on Sky Comedy next year.
