Sky has postponed the launch of its new political drama This England by a week following the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
The monarch died at the age of 96 following a 70-year reign at her home in Balmoral last Thursday, prompting broadcasters to rip up their usual schedules in favour of ongoing news coverage.
This England stars Kenneth Branagh as Boris Johnson and follows the now ex-Prime Minister as he navigates the tumultuous waters of the coronavirus pandemic - a period in which he himself was in intensive care on life support.
The first episode of the six-part series was due to air on Sky Atlantic on Wednesday, September 21 but has now been pushed back to September 28.
The show is not expected to undergo any edits in the wake of the monarch's death.
