The BBC has released the first trailer for the highly-anticipated new series of Race Across The World.
The dramatic reality show sees pairs of contestants race each other from location to location, armed with only a limited amount of money and the proviso that they cannot travel by air.
The second series became a lockdown hit in early 2020 but the show was then forced on hiatus due to the coronavirus travel restrictions in place around the world.
A new series was finally able to go ahead last year however, with five new pairs tasked with traversing 16,000 miles from coast to coast across the harsh terrains of Canada.
The five pairs are now confirmed as best friends Cathie and Tricia; brothers Marc and Michael; husband and wife Zainib and Mobeen; and two father and daughter duos – Kevin and Claudia, and Ladi and Monique.
The new series will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer soon.
