Channel 4 has released the first trailer for its upcoming dramatisation of the Wagatha Christie saga in Vardy v Rooney: A Courtroom Drama.

The programme will tell the story of the spat between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney - wives of former England stars Jamie and Wayne - which started when the latter accused the former of selling stories about her to the press.

The affair culminated in a high court libel battle earlier this year and the actual transcripts of the trial will be used in the show, which stars Michael Sheen as one of the lawyers.
