Leslie Jordan, best known for his role on Will & Grace, has died at the age of 67.
The actor and comedian, whose diminutive stature and quick wit earned him fans around the globe, is thought to have suffered a medical incident while driving in Hollywood on Monday morning.
According to TMZ, which broke the story, Jordan crashed his car into the side of a building and law enforcement were soon on the scene.
The star's agent David Shaul said in a statement: "The world is definitely a much darker place today without the love and light of Leslie Jordan.
"Not only was he a mega talent and joy to work with, but he provided an emotional sanctuary to the nation at one of its most difficult times.
"What he lacked in height he made up for in generosity and greatness as a son, brother, artist, comedian, partner and human being.
"Knowing that he has left the world at the height of both his professional and personal life is the only solace one can have today."
Jordan's final social media post came on Sunday as he shared a video of him singing a hymn.
