The mother of former Bath rugby player and The X Factor: Celebrity star Levi Davis has shared her concerns for her son's mental wellbeing.
The 24-year-old is currently missing in Spain after taking an impromptu trip from Ibiza, where he was staying with a friend, to Barcelona at the end of last month.
The last confirmed sighting of Davis was at an Irish pub in city hotspot La Rambla on the night of October 29 - and he has not thought to have had any contact with friends or family since then.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain today, his mother Julie revealed that he had gone travelling to 'sort his head out' after suffering an injury which could potentially end his rugby career.
"I think given the state he was in, I think he's probably deteriorated," she said.
"The fact he would normally be in touch with me on a day to day basis or his friends makes it even more concerning."
Since news of his disappearance broke, there have been two potential sightings of Davis, with one person claiming to have seen him sitting in a doorway and another person reporting that he had been seen looking "dishevelled" in the nearby party town of Sitges.
Julie and other family members are now preparing to fly to Barcelona to assist in the search.
