'Celebrity Big Brother' couple Chantelle and Preston reunite

Classic Celebrity Big Brother couple Chantelle and Preston reveal that they have become good friends again more than a decade on from their whirlwind romance and divorce.

Chantelle Houghton and Preston have revealed that they have rekindled their friendship more than 14 years after they met on Celebrity Big Brother.

Ordinary Boys singer Preston was part of the celebrity contingent to participate in the 2006 edtiion of the reality show, unaware that non-celeb Chantelle had entered the house with a mission to convince the celebs that she was a member of an up-and-coming girl group.

Over the course of the series, which also featured Michael Barrymore and Pete Burns, the pair fell in love and went on to get married after the show ended - although they divorced 10 months later.

Speaking in a joint interview with new magazine, the pair revealed that they have since reconciled their differences and are now good friends.

"It's nice to talk to somebody that you've known for a long time and shared something special with previously, he'd be completely honest with me," Chantelle told the publication.

Preston added: "Going through what we went through, we have a post-traumatic stress. It's not an exaggeration to say that it was so intense all the media coverage at the time that it does feel like there are very few people who understand what the real pressures of that are."
