New season of Big Brother Australia 'to feature celebrities'

The next season of Big Brother Australia will reportedly feature famous faces among its cast.

The upcoming season of Big Brother Australia will reportedly include famous faces among the housemates.

A new run of the show is currently being filmed in Sydney for broadcast on Seven early next year - and the launch show took place on Monday night after being delayed by two days due to a fire alert in the local area.

According to the Daily Mail, the new season will include "celebrities" in the lineup and pictures published by the newspaper show beauty YouTuber FlexMami entering the house alongside two other contestants.

The 26-year-old has more than 116,000 Instagram followers and also works as a DJ, describing herself as "a self-identifying spooky binch".

Although the report implies that the inclusion of celebrity contestants may be a twist to the format, having housemates with some degree of profile is not unprecedented; earlier this year the contestants included former AFL player Daniel Gorringe and popular YouTuber Kieran Davidson.
