Sky has announced plans to launch its first ever bricks-and-mortar retail stores around the UK, with the very first opening in Liverpool this coming Monday, October 26.
The new Sky Shops feature an open-plan layout and showcase Sky's range of TV, broadband and mobile products in addition to a 'Customer Hub' which will allow existing Sky customers to talk about their current products.
Several other shops are expected to launch before the year is out, with more strategic openings planned for throughout 2021.

Some of the shops will also feature dedicated product repair stations, which will be operated as part of a key partnership deal with repair specialists iSmash.
"Our new Sky shops are a great way for us to showcase the amazing benefits and customer service we have to offer new and existing customers," said Stephen van Rooyen, EVP of Sky in the UK and Europe.
"We're proud to see our shops opening at a challenging time for the UK high street, and alongside our partners at iSmash, we'll bring service, innovation and convenience all in one place, under one roof, at a time when keeping people connected has never been more important."

iSmash founder Julian Shovlin added: "We're incredibly excited by our partnership with Sky and the launch of our new store in Liverpool.
"With both brands offering complimentary products and services, and an aligned approach to customer experience, we believe that this collaboration will bring tangible benefits to our business and customers, keeping them connected to the devices they love."
As each of the new stores opens, they will do so under current government coronavirus guidelines, including social distancing and the mandatory use of facemasks, while hand sanitiser will be provided throughout the stores.
