GB News reveals that Jacob Rees-Mogg's new programme for the channel will be called State of the Nation and will begin on Monday.

Jacob Rees-Mogg's new show for GB News will begin this Monday, it has been confirmed.

Last month it was announced that the former Minister for Brexit Opportunities would present his own programme for the channel, months after he exited the government when Rishi Sunak took over as Prime Minister.

The new show is called Jacob Rees-Mogg's State of The Nation and will air Mondays to Thursdays in the 8pm hour, directly after GB News's top rated programme hosted by Nigel Farage.

The slot will also see him go directly up against Piers Morgan, who presents his Uncensored show on TalkTV at 8pm Monday to Thursday.

GB News previously had a programme presented by Mark Steyn in the 8pm hour, although the Canadian broadcaster quit the station earlier this month in a row over Ofcom investigations.
