NBC News Now will officially launch on the Sky EPG this Monday, it is confirmed.

NBC News Now will officially launch in the UK on Monday, it has been confirmed.

The channel - from Sky's sister company NBCUniversal - has been operating as a streaming service in the US for the last three years, with a schedule of live programming, reruns of NBC current affairs shows and occasional simulcasts of MSNBC.

NBC News Now will make its linear debut on Sky in the UK on Monday, having been testing off the EPG for around a month.

The station will join the EPG on channel 525, offering an alternative to coverage from CNN International and UK broadcasters such as Sky, BBC News and GB News.

Initially NBC News Now looks set to be available for Sky customers only, with no indication of whether it will launch on Sky Glass or other providers such as Virgin Media in the future.
