Ruxandra Porojnicu has reportedly returned to filming on Coronation Street after three years.
The actress made her debut on the soap in 2019 playing Alina Pop, a Romanian beauty salon worker who had arrived in the UK as a result of human trafficking.
Alina went on to have a relationship with Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and became pregnant by him but they lost the baby - and they subsequently split, with her deciding to return home.
However, her final scene in 2021 hinted that she could have fallen pregnant by Tyrone again, as she told an airport waiter that she wanted "just a tomato juice" before rubbing her tummy.
A source told The Sun: "Ruxandra has already been into the studios and started filming.
"She was a huge favourite with fans and the cast and crew so everyone's so happy to see her back."
The length of Porojnicu's stint on the soap - or if she will be returning as a regular cast member - is currently unknown.
