Beverley Callard has revealed that she is "not sure" whether she will return to Coronation Street to film Liz McDonald's exit from the soap.
The actress has played the part of Liz for 31 years but announced a year ago that she intended to quit for good in 2020.
On screen, the character abruptly left the street for Spain in the summer as a combination of coronavirus and a serious leg injury meant that Callard was unable to continue filming, but she outlined her intent to return to the show following her stint on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Speaking to The Sun, however, Callard said: "Will I be going back to film a proper Corrie exit? I'm not sure, it depends on the timing.
"I have lots else in the pipeline and I'm really looking forward to it.
"I would like to think my biggest achievement is yet to come. Keep on achieving."
Callard finished in 10th place on I'm A Celebrity, having spent 16 days in the show's Welsh castle setting.
