New Doctor Who project Time Lord Victorious to be released today?

Doctor Who teases a new project dubbed 'Time Lord Victorious'.

A new Doctor Who project called "Time Lord Victorious" will reportedly be released at midday today.

A trailer for the mysterious project was unveiled on Twitter late on Sunday, with Radio Times later describing it as a "major" endeavour and an "ambitious undertaking".

'Time Lord Victorious' was a phrase used by David Tennant's 10th Doctor in the acclaimed 2009 episode 'The Waters of Mars' starring Lindsay Duncan, hinting at a megalomaniacal side to The Doctor's character.

The trailer also appears to use the 'time crack' associated with Matt Smith's 11th Doctor.

Following the news, Amazon has created pre-order pages for books named 'Doctor Who: TLV 1' and 'Doctor Who: TLV 2', to be released on October 1 and December 10 respectively.
