Jai goes from high to low
The picket line outside the HOP appears to be deterring customers - and when Kim demands that Jai gets the staff back to work, she's surprised by how he reacts.

Kim's humiliated when a wealthy friend shows up for a coffee and she's forced to turn waitress. Later, Jai and Laurel present a plan to Kim hoping to prove that zero-hour contracts are not the way forward.

Laurel visits Jai and tells him she wants to get back together, leaving him elated.

Jai searches for his missing wallet at Take A Vow and is shocked to find a bag of drugs down the back of a chair. Laurel's furious, assuming the drugs belong to him - and he's convinced that it was Kim sabotaging him.

After Rishi tells Laurel that Jai almost had a relapse, she's filled with anger, leaving Jai in tears that he's lost everything yet again.

Ethan takes a controversial case
Ethan's called in to the police station to help a client, Jordan, who's been arrested for assault - but he's horrified when he sees the victim in CCTV footage. He tells Jordan that he knows Billy personally but Jordan's adamant that he should represent him.

Over at the hospital, a devastated Billy tells Dawn and Will that the attack was racially motivated and he doesn't expect justice to prevail.
