Daisy Campbell has revealed that she has signed a new 12-month deal to stay on Emmerdale as Amelia Spencer.
The news means that the 19-year-old actress will extend her stay in the Dales to at least 13 years, having joined the soap at the age of just seven in 2011.
Campbell has been part of a major storyline over the last year as Amelia became pregnant by Samson Dingle (Sam Hall), giving birth to baby Esther during the epic Storm Week last October.
"I'd love to stay on [the show] for as long as I can," she told The Sun. "I recently signed for another year and couldn't be happier."
She added: "I never take it for granted because you never know when they might kill you off. It can happen to anyone."
Emmerdale continues weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
