Bulgaria confirms representative for Eurovision 2022
Bulgaria will be represented by rock supergroup Intelligent Music Project at next year's Eurovision Song Contest.

Bulgarian broadcaster BNT have announced rock supergroup Intelligent Music Project as their representative for Eurovision 2022.

Next year's contest will be held in Turin in May following the success of Italy's Maneskin - also rockers - in Rotterdam earlier this year.

Intelligent Music Project has had an ever-changing lineup of members and for Eurovision they will be fronted by Chilean singer Ronnie Romero, lead vocalist of Rainbow.

The group's song for the contest has been named as 'Intention' and is due to be unveiled early next month.

Intelligent Music Project become the third confirmed act for Eurovision 2022, with Georgia due to be represented by progressive rockers Circus Mircus and Belgium by The Voice winner Jeremie Makiese.
