Billy Price has thanked Hollyoaks cast, crew and fans following his exit from the Channel 4 soap.
In scenes in yesterday's E4 and All 4 episode, Price's character Sid Sumner decided to leave the village after three years due to the traumatic events involving drug dealer Victor Brothers, who was shot and killed last month during a scuffle with Sid.
Posting on Instagram, Price wrote: "And that's a wrap on 'Sid Sumner' on @hollyoaksofficial
"Over the past 3 years I've had the craziest journey on this show. There have been ups & downs but I would not change it for the world.
"I cannot thank the cast & crew enough, you have taught me so much and given me friends for life.
"Thank you to all you at home for allowing me to do what I love everyday, you are the reason I do what I do.
"Here is to whatever challenge life throws at me next βπΌπ #itsbeenablast"
