Saturday and Sunday's live episodes of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! have been cancelled due to treacherous weather in Wales, ITV has confirmed.
Last night's episode was pre-recorded several hours in advance due to the arrival of Storm Arwen, which has brought with it winds in excess of 80mph and torrential rainfall.
Conditions have only worsened on Saturday, however, meaning that it has not been safe to film challenges or trials, nor is it safe for Ant and Dec to record their links on site.
As a result ITV has taken the decision to drop new episodes of the show planned for tonight and tomorrow night, and will instead air two special programmes featuring highlights from past series.
A spokesperson for the broadcaster said: "Owing to technical difficulties caused by extreme weather conditions in the area, there will be no new episodes of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! this weekend.
"I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! will be replaced tonight and tomorrow night in the ITV schedules by compilation shows (voiced by Ant & Dec) featuring best moments from previous series."
Weather permitting, the series is expected to return to its normal timeslot on Monday night.
