Wealthy fashion influencer Aimee-Rose Francis is reportedly chosen for the new series of Love Island.

Love Island producers have reportedly cast fashion influencer Aimee-Rose Francis on the new series.

After a year off due to coronavirus, the ITV2 dating show is returning for a new run next month and producers are now in the process of finalising the contestant lineup.

According to The Sun, one name definitely on the list is 29-year-old Chelsea girl Francis, who runs her own jewellery business and has more than 80,000 followers on Instagram.

"Producers are nearly there with their cast and Aimee is top of their list," a source told the newspaper.

"She's incredibly well-educated, has bags of personality and isn't afraid to stand up for herself.

"She could have walked straight off reality show Made In Chelsea. Bosses think she'll be a great addition."

Other rumoured contestants include Nigel Benn's boxer son Harley Benn; James Price, a 23-year-old Chelsea party boy; Alexis Bailey, a 21-year-old fire-eating beauty queen; and Toluwa Adepeju, a hunky 25-year-old doctor from London.
