Spice Girls have reportedly decided not to go ahead with plans for a new world tour next year.
The best-selling girl group of all time reunited for a limited tour of the UK and Ireland in 2019, although Victoria Beckham chose not to take part, leaving the other members to perform as a four-piece.
Just before Christmas Mel C revealed that there had been discussions about a potential world tour in 2023 but according to The Sun, the idea has now been abandoned.
"It was going brilliant - but COVID killed the momentum," a source told the newspaper. "Now it's done again. There's nothing on the agenda and they're focusing on their own things.
"The girls loved being back on stage and it reinvigorated their love for performing, but a few years of lockdown and everyone's back has turned on the group in favour of other projects.
"Geri is talking about new TV things, Emma has TV and radio work and the two Mels are focusing on their own stuff.
"Victoria certainly isn't going to be the one to bring it back to life - so it has fizzled out. They're done."
Last year the group marked their 25th anniversary with a special re-release of their debut album Spice.
