Betty White's publicist has provided a fresh update on the entertainment legend, revealing that she is still "doing very well" during the coronavirus pandemic.
The 98-year-old has been isolating at home in California since the lockdown began and in March her rep came out to reassure fans that she was "fine" amid concerns that she was at risk from the disease.
Speaking to NBC's Today over the weekend, the publicist revealed that White is supported at home by "helpers" but that no-one else is permitted into her property, "except those who must".
"Betty has beautiful backyard with a number of wild animals visiting," the rep said. "Two ducks always come by to say hello. They waddle up to her glass door and look in.
"The animal community is watching over her. The virus is afraid of Betty!"
Last week it emerged that White is enjoying the finer things in life during the lockdown, regularly dining on hot dogs and vodka martinis as well as working her way through crossword puzzle books.
