John Cleese has mocked Disney for sending him a cheque for 17p in royalties for his part in the 2011 film Winnie The Pooh.
The 80-year-old Fawlty Towers creator has entered self-isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic and joked that the arrival of the funds had boosted his "morale".
Writing on Twitter, he said: "In these difficult times, the arrival of residuals boosts my morale. Today I received royalties from The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh : $ 0.20
"Even better, from Charlie's Angels - Full Throttle : $ 3.81 !!
"Where shall I celebrate tonight ? I know ! My room !"
Cleese's next project is a role in a movie adaptation of Clifford the Big Red Dog.
