Saint Jhn on course for second week at number one

American rapper Saint Jhn is on course for a second week at number one on the UK singles chart with 'Roses'.

Saint Jhn is on course for a second week at the top of the singles chart, according to the latest data from the Official Charts Company.

The American rapper ended The Weeknd's five-week reign at the summit on Friday and early data indicates that 'Roses' is almost 4,000 sales ahead of 'Blinding Lights' in the race for this week's number one.

Joel Corry's 'Lonely' looks to continue its stealthy ascent up the rankings, currently sitting in third place, up from fifth last week.

Elsewhere, country music legend Kenny Rogers could re-enter the UK singles chart following his death at the age of 81 on Friday.

The iconic duet with Dolly Parton, 'Islands in the Stream', is currently at number 40 while his signature solo song 'The Gambler' is at 43.
