Kylie Minogue wine range officially launches across UK

The first wine in the Kylie Minogue Wines collection is officially released in Tesco stores around the UK.

Kylie Minogue has officially launched the first wine from her new collection in more than 450 Tesco stores around the UK.

The 'Kylie Minogue Rosé', which is being released on the singer's 52nd birthday, is a blend of Carignan and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the South of France and has been produced in conjunction with drinks specialists Benchmark Drinks.

The wine had a soft launch in selected stories last weekend and reportedly sold out within a few days as eager fans snapped up the initial stock.

"I have a great passion for rosé and have loved working for the last two years on developing Kylie Minogue Wines," Minogue said. "Working with the brilliant team at Benchmark Drinks we have created a rosé that I am truly enamoured by. It's fresh, light and the perfect pink."

The wine is available now in Tesco stores for £9 a bottle and can also be bought online at kylieminoguewines.com.
