Lesley Joseph reveals coronavirus fears

Birds of a Feather star Lesley Joseph reveals that she thought she had caught coronavirus during lockdown.

Birds of a Feather star Lesley Joseph has admitted that she feared she had caught coronavirus a couple of months ago.

At the age of 74, the veteran actress is in the category of people considered to be most at risk from the disease, which has now killed almost 40,000 people in the UK.

Speaking on Loose Women, Joseph revealed that she became anxious after fearing she had COVID-19 but was calmed down by a quick yoga session.

"Over the last eight years, I've realised how much I love yoga," she said. "And there was one time in this lockdown when I didn't feel very well and I was nervous I might have it.

"I just did my yoga breathing I put my music on – and it wasn't [coronavirus], it was just something else – and breathed deeply, and that's really been amazing to keep me centred and focused."

Joseph recently touted the idea of resurrecting Birds of a Feather for a lockdown special.
