Katie Price reportedly moves in with friends after she was allegedly assaulted in the early hours of Monday morning.

Katie Price is reportedly staying with friends as she is "far too emotional" to return home after her alleged assault over the weekend.

The 43-year-old was taken to hospital in the early hours of Monday morning with facial injuries, after which police arrested a man on suspicion of assaulting her at her home in Essex.

The man, who is in his 30s and cannot be named for legal reasons, has since been released on bail, while Price is said to be staying away from the place where the alleged incident occurred.

"Katie is so upset and far too emotional to go back to the home she was attacked in," a source told The Sun.

"She's staying with friends and resting up to recover from her injuries. She's sent friends to pick up some stuff she needs from the Essex house so she's comfortable."

Speaking to the media yesterday, Price said that she was "devastated" by the turn of events and claimed that the assault was "unprovoked".
