Michelle Dewberry's premature baby out of intensive care

Michelle Dewberry reveals that her baby son has finally been let out of intensive care after being born at 31 weeks.

Michelle Dewberry has revealed that her premature baby son has been moved out of a neo-natal intensive care unit after six weeks.

The businesswoman and former winner of The Apprentice welcomed the baby with her partner Simon Jordan, ex-owner of Crystal Palace, at 31 weeks after suffering from a pregnancy complication known as preterm premature rupture of the membranes (PPROM).

Posting a picture of her and Jordan carrying their son in a baby basket, she wrote: "And so a new chapter begins... After almost 6 weeks, our little boy graduated the NICU.

"What an emotional roller coaster...Incredibly challenging, upsetting & draining - Yet also so often awe-inspiring.

"So many ups/downs & so many milestones to celebrate; from the complex (being able to breathe unassisted, or feed without a tube etc) through to the simple (finally wearing clothes).

"Neonatology & neonatologists are incredible & premmies are so strong, true fighters."

Dewberry has yet to reveal the name of her baby son.
