Agents for reality shows such as Love Island and TOWIE are reportedly badgering producers of The Celebrity Traitors to get their clients in the lineup.

The spinoff show, presented by Claudia Winkleman, is due to begin filming in Scotland early next year and has already been linked with a host of top names for the lineup.

The likes of Stephen Fry, Clare Balding, Tom Daley, Alan Carr, Jennifer Saunders, Daisy May Cooper and Robert Peston are all thought to be on board, but according to the Daily Mail, producers' phones have been "ringing non-stop" with calls from agents of "D-List" stars.

"The team behind The Traitors have never seen anything like it. Ever since the celebrity series was announced in the summer, the phones have been ringing non-stop with agents desperate to pitch their talent for the show," a source said.

"But it has been made loud and clear that they only want high-profile household names and aren't looking for the usual fodder from the reality TV circuit."

Meanwhile, the third series of the civilian version is expected to premiere on BBC One on New Year's Day.
