The first episode of House of the Dragon has now been watched by over 4 million viewers in the UK.
The Game of Thrones prequel series launched on Sky Atlantic on Monday, August 22, with 1.4 million tuning in over the first day alone.
Sky has now revealed that the figure has grown to 4.08 million viewers, including a consolidated seven-day figure of 3.78 million - and the broadcaster has now decided to make the whole episode available for free in the UK via YouTube.
Zai Bennett, Sky's MD of content, said: "Momentum around House of the Dragon just continues to build, as more and more people spread the word about its ever-current narrative of political power play married with visuals of epic scale and imagination.
"And thanks to Sky making the first episode freely available to watch via YouTube, more people than ever before will be able to sample the world-class world of Westeros."
House of the Dragon continues every Monday on Sky Atlantic.
