Channel 4 has announced a new First Dates spinoff show set in a Mediterranean beach location.
Called First Dates Beach Club, the eight-part series will see Fred Sirieix and Merlin Griffiths welcome singletons to the idyllic setting in the hopes that love will blossom.
Similar to fellow spinoff First Dates Hotel, the new show will follow matched pairings beyond their initial meeting - should there be a spark - as they continue their holidays.
Rita Daniels, commissioning editor at Channel 4, said: "The sun and sea is undoubtedly going to give this brand-new concept the ultimate sizzle. I can't wait to see the beach time antics of our hopeful daters.
"I'm sure under the watchful eye of our fantastic First Dates team we will be able to witness first hand our brand new lovers embracing the romance and watching the sun set on a stunning Mediterranean beach."
The series will be filmed this summer for broadcast either later this year or in 2026.
