Simon Cowell has reportedly approached singer Mabel about becoming a judge on his big new ITV series Walk The Line.
The new show, which will be stripped across a week later this year, is a cross between a gameshow and a music competition with a £500,000 prize up for grabs.
Cowell will be one of the judges on the show alongside RnB legend Craig David and according to The Sun, Mabel has been approached about joining them.
"Mabel is somebody the producers have been in touch with for a while now. They think she would bring something really fresh to the panel," a source told the newspaper.
"There have been initial discussions, but no final decision has been made yet.
"Bagging a hot star like Mabel is a real coup for the series."
Mabel - daughter of Neneh Cherry - is known for hits including 'Don't Call Me Up', 'Boyfriend' and 'Mad Love'.
