Meghan Markle has postponed the release of her new Netflix lifestyle show until March due to the devastating fires which are still raging in California.
Hollywood has effectively ground to a standstill over the last fortnight because of the widespread, relentless blazes, which have killed at least 24 people and destroyed tens of thousands of homes.
The disaster shows no signs of abating in the immediate future, with experts warning that high winds over the next 24 hours could escalate the situation.
The Duchess of Sussex had been due to release With Love, Meghan - a show in which she and celebrity friends offer tips for the kitchen, garden "and beyond" - on January 15, but the date has now been pushed back to March 4.
In a statement, she said: "I'm thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California."
In the wake of the fires, Meghan and her husband Prince Harry opened up their home in Montecito to "friends and loved ones" who have been forced to evacuate their own homes due to the fires.
